Vikram Kirloskar, vice-chairman of Toyota India, died of a major heart attack.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor vice chairman Vikram Kirloskar, a leading businessman in India, has died. According to accounts, the automotive industry icon died after a major heart attack late Tuesday. Kirloskar is credited with bringing Toyota from Japan to India.
According to sources, Kirloskar was proclaimed dead after frantic efforts to resuscitate him failed.
“We regret to notify you of the unexpected death of Vikram S. Kirloskar, vice chairman of Toyota Kirloskar Motor. We ask that everyone pray for his soul to rest in peace at this difficult time. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends “Toyota Kirloskar Motors, a joint venture between Toyota and the Kirloskar family, announced the news in a press release.
Kirloskar’s wife, Geetanjali Kirloskar, and daughter Manasi Kirloskar survive him. He used to like cooking for his wife and was a fan of fine cuisine and wine. He also enjoyed travelling and golfing with his wife. Noel Kirloskar is Manasi Kirloskar’s husband.
Other notable people who died as a result of cardiac problems
Heart-related disorders cause more than 90% of all sudden natural fatalities. Several Indian renowned persons and celebrities have died recently as a result of a heart attack or cardiac arrest. When one of the coronary arteries becomes clogged, it causes a heart attack. A cardiac arrest occurs when a person’s heart ceases to pump blood throughout their body. Sudden cardiac death may be a symptom of underlying heart disease.
Most recently, on November 11, Indian television star Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi, 46, died after suffering a heart attack while working out at the gym. On August 10, comedian Raju Srivastav suffered a major heart collapse while on the treadmill. On September 21, he died.
Famous singer KK also died in May from heat-related illnesses. KK reportedly felt ill while performing at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata. Authorities confirmed that the initial autopsy revealed that KK died from heart failure.
Other celebrities who died unexpectedly include South Indian actor Puneeth Rajkumar, who died in October 2021 of a fatal cardiac arrest. Sidharth Shukla, the TV heartthrob, died of a heart attack in September 2021, leaving his fans in shock and grief.
