Some iOS beta users of WhatsApp now have access to the feature that displays profile photographs in group chats

Profile images within groups is a new feature that WhatsApp will be introducing.
The functionality is presently being worked on and will appear in a future release of the app.
When receiving a message in a group, the release will display the profile picture of each group member.
Some iOS beta testers are seeing profile pictures of group members through WhatsApp in group chats. The upgrade raises the version to 22.23.0.70 and is submitted through the TestFlight beta program.
WhatsApp is developing several new changes to give its consumers a better experience. According to WABetaInfo, a website that analyses the most recent WhatsApp upgrades, the instant messaging app is giving select iOS beta testers access to the profile pictures of group members within group chats. The functionality will make it simple to identify group members.
The upgrade raises the version to 22.23.0.70 and is submitted through the TestFlight beta programme. A screenshot of the update was also provided by the website. Members of the group can use this feature to identify participants with the same name.
The default empty profile photo will be shown if a group participant has no profile photo or if it is hidden. According to WABetaInfo, the default empty profile photo is always coloured by utilising the same hue as the contact name.
Only a select group of WhatsApp beta users who install the most recent version for iOS via the TestFlight app can use the functionality. In the upcoming weeks, the feature will be made available to a few additional beta testers.
Recently, WhatsApp has made it possible for some android beta testers to forward documents, GIFs, videos, and photographs with captions. Installing the most recent version of WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.23.15 update from the Google Play Store will allow the lucky users to access this functionality.
The Meta-owned software also gave certain iOS beta users the option to make polls in one-on-one talks earlier this week. Similar to how polls are permitted in group chats, users can add up to 12 alternatives in individual chats.
In a later release of the iOS beta app, WhatsApp also intends to add these profile symbols next to message bubbles.
