Recently, Nawazuddin Siddiqui discussed how his sallow skin made him popular. He once claimed that his appearance led to rejection at employment.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is quite outspoken about not being able to join the club of Bollywood actors who are often considered to be attractive. He stated that his dark skin makes him in demand in a recent interview. He also lauded Smita Patil and Rinku Rajguru for their on-screen attractiveness.
In a 2017 interview with HT, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that “racist individuals” in the business were to blame for many of his rejections. It’s interesting that the actor’s upcoming movie, Noorani Chehre, has a social message about long-standing beauty standards in society, such as the fixation with pale skin. Nupur Sanon, a singer and sister of Kriti Sanon, will be making her Bollywood debut.
Nawazuddin responded to the question of whether he had overcome the difficulties of not being a typically attractive actor in the business by saying, “If they need fair people, then they need me as well. I’m in high demand. Aaj kal kafi desire kale rang hain (Dark skinned people are in demand). A camera can only capture a very specific kind of beauty. That type of beauty is genuine. The audience won’t notice whether I’m sincere in front of the camera, but even I’ll start to appear lovely.
Seen in Sairat, Rinku Rajguru Despite having an unusual appearance, after a few minutes her presence in the movie begins to hypnotise you. I genuinely said, “Yeh ladki kitni khoobsurat hai (How gorgeous is she)!” at one point in the movie. I genuinely think that Smita Patil’s beauty was captured by the camera better than that of any other Indian actress. She was, in my opinion, the most attractive actress I’ve ever seen on screen. I believe that beauty on television and in real life are extremely unlike.
For his independent films, Nawazuddin is well recognised. He became well-known for his role as Faizal Khan in the 2012 movie Gangs of Wasseypur Part 2 by director Anurag Kashyap. He was last saw in the underwhelming sequel to Heropanti starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.
People who need fair-complexion performers right now also need him, according to Nawazuddin Siddiqui: Aaj kal kafi desire hain, kale rang.
