Om Raut addresses the criticism of Saif Ali Khan’s “Ravan” appearance.

With each passing day, it appears that the controversy surrounding the impending Hindu mythical movie Adipurush, which stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in key roles, is picking more steam.

The movie Adipurush, starring Prabhas, is keenly anticipated by Indian viewers. Recently, the teaser for the movie was grandly unveiled, and it received a tremendous amount of feedback on YouTube. However, a portion of the audience voiced their displeasure with the preview and made remarks about Saif’s appearance.

They claimed Saif Ali Khan had the appearance of a Mughal ruler. Now, all of the trolls received a strong response from the director Om Raut. He claimed that they had presented Ravan as a demonic, nasty, and Sita-kidnapper who lives in modern times.

Adipurush, according to Om Raut, is neither a movie nor a project for them; rather, it is a purpose. He continued by saying that the movie is a representation of commitment and that their group requires the support of the public.

The film has already drawn criticism for the poor VFX that was seen in the teaser. Narottam Mishra, the home minister for Madhya Pradesh, then voiced his displeasure over an image of Lord Hanuman sporting a leather suit.

In response to the film’s extensive mockery of Saif’s portrayal of Raavan, the filmmaker declared that Ravan in modern times is cruel and wicked. The wicked guy who abducted our goddess Sita is to blame. We have shown the current appearance of Raavan.
The film, in which Prabhas portrays Lord Ram and Kriti Sita, will hit theatres on January 12, 2023.
