Indian Embassy Suggests 5 Border Crossing for the indians.

The Indian Embassy has offered suggestions on ways for Indian nationals to cross the border amid the deteriorating security situation in Ukraine. Indian nationals who are currently in the war-torn country are urged to leave as soon as possible, according to a warning from the Indian Embassy in Ukraine. Additionally, it has cautioned Indians against visiting Ukraine.

The Indian embassy in Kyiv on Wednesday issued an advise, warning against travelling to the battle zone and also asking Indian people currently in Ukraine to leave as soon as possible, as hostilities continue to increase throughout Ukraine.The Indian Embassy in Ukraine made its choice while the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has raged on for more than 240 days without ceasing.

The crossings for the Hungary-Ukraine border are situated in the Zakarpattia region, and the easiest way to get to Chop City is by train, according to the embassy. Indian nationals must obtain a valid Schengen/Slovak visa at the border checkpoint for the Ukraine-Slovakia border, it was added.

Options for crossing the border for Indians

1. The Indian Embassy in Ukraine said that the checkpoints are situated in the Zakarpattia region along the Ukraine-Hungary border.It suggested that the most sensible course of action is to take the train to Chop City. Ukraine-Moldova border: For the Ukraine-Moldova border, checkpoints are situated in the Chernivets’ka, Vinnytska, and Odesska areas.According to the Indian Embassy in Ukraine, Indian nationals must apply for a transit visa to Moldova in advance at the Moldovan Embassy in Kiev, unless they already hold a valid visa for the country.

3. Border between Ukraine and Slovakia: According to the embassy, the checkpoints are situated in the Zakarpattia region. Further, it said that Indian nationals must get a visa at the border check point unless they already hold a valid Schengen/Slovak visa.

4. Checkpoints are situated in the Chernivetska and Zakarpathia regions, according to the Indian Embassy in Ukraine.Indian citizens have to apply for Romanian visa at the Romanian embassy. People who don’t have the visa have not able to get enter or exit to the and from the country.

5. Checkpoints are situated in the Lvivska and Volynska areas along the Ukraine-Poland border, according to the embassy, Indian nationals must get a Schengen/Polish visa in advance at the Polish Consulate General in Lviv, it continued.
