Exit polls indicate AAP winning in MCD

Kejriwal congratulates Delhiites after exit polls indicate AAP winning in MCD, and considers Gujarat’s forecast a “good indication.”
“I’d want to congratulate the people of Delhi. I was also watching the exit polls, and it appears that the Aam Aadmi Party did well in the MCD. However, we would not thank the people till we receive the official results tomorrow “Arvind Kejriwal stated
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal praised the people of Delhi on Tuesday after exit polls revealed the AAP had won a clean sweep in the municipal elections, and he also stated the party’s forecast in Gujarat is a “good indication.”
However, he stated that the Aam Aadmi Party will wait for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election results before congratulating the people of the national capital. Three exit polls released on Monday projected that the AAP would easily win the MCD elections, with the BJP trailing far behind. The counting of ballots for the 250-ward civic body elections will begin on Wednesday.
“I’d want to greet the citizens of Delhi.” I was also monitoring the exit polls, and the Aam Aadmi Party seemed to have done well in the MCD. We will not, however, thank the people until we receive the official results tomorrow.
“We hope that tomorrow’s results mirror the exit poll estimates and that the people of Delhi and the country will continue to support the AAP in the future,” Kejriwal said.
According to exit polls, the BJP will win a seventh straight term in Gujarat. According to exit polls, the party is anticipated to receive a large mandate in the range of 117-151 members in the 182-member house, the Congress 16-51 seats, and the AAP 2-13 seats. In the Gujarat Assembly, the majority vote is 92.
The AAP ran a high-volume campaign in Gujarat, with Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann performing roadshows and rallying people.
“Exit polls in Gujarat projected favourable outcomes as well. A new political party has emerged in Gujarat. If we can get 15-20% of the vote, I feel that will be a really encouraging indicator. Until recently, everyone has been talking about how Gujarat is a BJP stronghold “He said.
Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal’s deputy, stated that the AAP will sweep the MCD elections, claiming that the public will once again prefer Kejriwal’s “staunch honesty” and “politics of good administration” over the BJP’s falsehoods. Sisodia accused the BJP of fooling the public and “conspiring” against Kejriwal on a daily basis.
They attempted to smear him, make false accusations against me, and discredit Satyendar Jain, but the people voted for work, not the BJP’s falsehoods. ” The people of Delhi have demonstrated and communicated to the rest of the country that the Aam Aadmi Party is a steadfastly honest party, and all of the charges levelled against us are simply falsehoods,” the deputy chief minister added.
Sisodia went on to say that the BJP used a number of its chief ministers and Union ministers to publicise their “lies and false charges” against Kejriwal. “Their ministers continued to criticise CM Arvind Kejriwal and levelled several charges. The people of Delhi are aware of the job that CM Arvind Kejriwal has done for them, which is why they voted for the AAP to power in the MCD “He stated.
Sisodia predicted that the AAP will make a strong showing in the Gujarat elections. “Gujaratis showed us tremendous affection and support. It gives me great pleasure to announce that, thanks to their support, we will soon become a national party. People are now showing their trust in politics for the welfare of their children, better health, education, and basic facilities, rather than politics of lies and dishonesty “He stated.
According to him, this would be the first time in the country’s history that a party would become a national party in just ten years.
On Thursday, the votes for the two-phased Gujarat elections will be counted.
